Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to deliver high-quality service in line with SLAs and cleaning schedules. The position is permanent and full-time, with hours from 07:45 to 16:15, Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week, based at GlaxoSmithKline in Ware, Hertfordshire.

Key responsibilities include keeping equipment clean and safe, meeting SLAs, understanding cleaning chemicals, and maintaining health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic English communication skills required.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
