Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaner – Healthcare in Stevenage to deliver high-standard cleaning within a healthcare environment and to meet SLA agreements while adhering to cleaning schedules.

The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) with a 2:00pm–10:00pm shift, located at Herts HPFT NHS, Lister Hospital, Stevenage. Join a team committed to safety, quality and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, especially healthcare, is desirable.
• Able to follow schedules and use own initiative.
• Familiar with cleaning equipment, materials, and approved chemicals.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
• Strong team player with commitment to improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine, planned and periodic cleaning to a high standard in a healthcare environment.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Follow Health & Safety and Mitie procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and deliver excellent service.
• Work independently and as part of a team, striving to exceed expectations.
