Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a Caretaker to join the Facilities team in Worcester. The role covers management and operation of all College buildings and supporting day-to-day maintenance tasks.

Candidates should have relevant industrial experience and a qualification in first aid or a willingness to obtain one. The post involves travel to other campuses as required, and occasional on-call duties with an allowance.

Qualifications

• Relevant industrial experience in facilities or maintenance.
• Qualification in first aid or willingness to gain one.
• Ability to carry out general maintenance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Be conversant with the management and operation of all buildings occupied by the College.
• Be on call for out of hours requirements (allowance paid)
• Ensure the College is unlocked and secured as required
• Assist with suppliers delivering incoming goods and distribute deliveries.
• Comply with the Health and Safety at Work legislation.
