Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College seeks a dedicated Caretaker to join the Facilities team at Redditch campus. You will help manage and secure College buildings, assist with deliveries, and support health and safety compliance.

The role is 37 hours per week with occasional out-of-hours work and a salary between £24,556 and £25,381 depending on qualifications and experience. We promote an inclusive community and offer development opportunities, with DBS checks and references required.

Qualifications

• Qualification in first aid (or willingness to gain one).
• Experience with general maintenance repairs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate buildings occupied by the College.
• Be on call for out of hours requirements (allowance paid).
• Ensure the College is unlocked and secured as required.
• Assist with suppliers delivering incoming goods and distribute deliveries.
• Comply with Health and Safety at Work legislation.
