Job summary

Labcorp Eye, England, seeks a Building Maintenance Technician to join the facilities team. Mon–Fri, 8.30am–5pm, 37.5 hours, to maintain site plant and engineering systems for smooth daily operations.

The role includes daily plant checks (boilers, AHU, chillers, water compliance), building fabric repairs, and updating PPMs. You will work with the Facilities Manager and contractors, and may operate MEWP or forklifts. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ GCSEs, including English, Maths and Science.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or construction trades.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Weekend overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance engineering team with maintenance and repair of site plant and engineering systems.
• Undertake daily plant checks including boiler, water compliance, AHU, chillers and other systems.
• Liaise with and escort contractors; operate MEWP and drive forklift where required.
• Update site PPM records and report plant failures to the Facilities Manager.
