Job summary

ETS Technical is seeking a Site Maintenance & Support Technician for our Building Materials Facility in Watford, Hertfordshire. This on-site role supports Laboratory Technicians, assists with setting up and dismantling test equipment, and maintains site services to ensure smooth test operations.

The successful candidate will have experience in site maintenance or warehousing, strong communication, and the ability to work unsupervised under guidance from the Test Support Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in areas such as Site Maintenance & Support, Yard Management, Goods-In/Goods-Out or Stores Management/Warehousing.
• Professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
• Impartiality, calm under pressure.
• Good communicator.
• Able to follow instructions when given, can readily work unsupervised, used to Handbook work.
• Regular contact, liaison with the Test Support Supervisor (your line manager).
• Liaise with on and offsite personnel as required

Responsibilities

• Support the company's team of Laboratory Technicians to ensure the smooth running of tests on-site.
• Assist in the setting up, installation and dismantling of test equipment and facilities.
• Help in the maintenance & upkeep of the site and general site services activities as required.
