OnFife is recruiting a part-time Facilities Assistant for Kirkcaldy Galleries. You will support the Venue Warden and Management Team, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming space for visitors. The role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, with training provided.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our team at Kirkcaldy Galleries. You’ll provide direct support to our Venue Warden and Venue Management Team, undertaking duties relating to the operation of Kirkcaldy Galleries and surrounding grounds. You will provide exceptional customer service and support, offering a warm welcome to visitors from the local area and further afield.

The position offers a preferred working pattern, but flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business. This will include evenings and weekends.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Facilities Assistant to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding role, helping to ensure our building is safe, clean and welcoming for all visitors. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards, supporting the day-to-day operation of our building, and willing to undertake duties inclusive of opening and closing our building, health and safety checks, and reporting repairs.

You will be practical, organised, and able to work independently whilst also being part of a supportive team.

Previous maintenance or facilities experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided for the successful candidate. If you are a person who enjoys making a positive difference in the community, we’d love to hear from you.
