Job summary

Linnaeus North Downs Specialist Referrals (NDSR) is seeking a meticulous Facilities Assistant to help keep our veterinary hospital safe, clean, secure, and smoothly run. The role covers both clinical and non-clinical spaces, with 30 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8am-3pm) and occasional weekend work.

You will support maintenance, assist with repairs, move and handle equipment, and liaise with contractors while working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to minimise disruption to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Responding promptly to maintenance issues and supporting planned maintenance activities.
• Assisting with repairs, moving furniture, and handling a variety of equipment.
• Liaising with contractors and working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, secure, and operational hospital environment.
• Adapting quickly to changing priorities and day-to-day needs of a busy hospital.
