Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant for Sherwood Oaks Hospital in Mansfield. This part-time role runs 20 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 14:00–18:00, with bank holidays. You will perform cleaning to high hygiene standards, and may assist with basic catering and portering duties. Full training and uniform are provided.

The Trust emphasises safe, clean environments for staff and service users, with support from a wide network across the region.

The Operational Divisions and Service Directorates are supported by a range of corporate services. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team at Sherwood Oaks Hospital, located at Sherwood Oaks Business Park, Mansfield. This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 14.00pm -18.00pm including Bank holidays. Details will be discussed at interview.

The primary focus of this role is cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in line with infection control and health and safety guidelines. In addition to cleaning duties, there may be opportunities to support with basic catering and portering tasks as needed.

Full training will be provided across all relevant duties. Uniform will also be supplied.
