The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting a Facilities Assistant for Domestic Services to support the Cleanliness Services Team. The role involves working across satellite sites in the Shrewsbury area and providing support to portering and catering as required.

Shift patterns include early, late, night and weekend hours with full training provided. Applicants will join a multi-skilled team delivering high standards of cleanliness and compassionate patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Cleaning hospital areas
• Transporting patients and equipment
• Assisting with food service for patients, staff and visitors
• Following health and safety rules, infection control procedures and food hygiene standards
• Physical tasks such as lifting, moving equipment and walking long distances
• Providing support in emergencies and assisting patients, visitors and clinical teams when needed
