Job summary

Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support general painting, decorating, repairs and facilities duties on a bank/ad-hoc basis. You will ensure areas are clean, safe and prepared to high standards, with strong health and safety awareness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A basic standard of general education.
• Experience in general painting, decorating, repairs and facilities duties.
• Passion for health and safety, you will have either achieved or be working towards a H&S related qualification.
• A drive to continually improve the environment around you for the good of others.

Responsibilities

• Support with general painting, decorating, repairs and facilities services carrying out work to a high standard.
• Clean and prepare the areas for which you are responsible following the required policies and procedures, e.g. health and safety, infection prevention and control etc.
• Complete any paperwork required, correctly and on time.
• Provide general assistance and support as part of the team.
• Report any problems with your work area or any equipment to your Line Manager.
• Working in a fast-moving environment, with constant interaction with all areas of the hospital.
• When fire alarms are activated, to support the early recognition of activation area and support the evacuation.
• Maintain all customer facing areas of the hospital to the highest levels of appearance and safety in accordance with the company brand
