Job summary

Rushcliffe Borough Council is seeking a proactive Facilities operative to support the operation of facilities across the West Bridgford area. You will be part of a seven‑day rota ensuring buildings and community spaces are safe, clean and welcoming, with responsibilities including opening/closing, cleaning, minor maintenance, and assisting with community spaces.

  • Open and close buildings as part of a seven-day rota.
  • Clean and prepare facilities for public use.
  • Carry out minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Support room lettings and bookings.
  • Assist with operation of community halls, council and business offices, sports venues, parks and playing field facilities.

Salary: LS15/14 £25176-£29,181 per annum with a Competency Framework (pay award pending)

Closing Date: Sunday 23rd August 2026 midnight

Hours: 37hrs per week, including shift and weekend work

About the Role
