Facilities Assistant

Location: The Lowry Hotel, Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Assistant at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester's iconic five-star hotel. This role involves supporting the Assistant Chief Engineer within the Facilities department and managing maintenance tasks using the property management system to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel in compliance with legislation and company procedures.

The main responsibilities include responding to and prioritising maintenance requests, ensuring guest safety, and maintaining the hotel's functionality. The role covers various maintenance tasks such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical work, and mechanical engineering.

The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to perform these tasks to a high standard while respecting guest privacy in a luxury hotel environment.

Working hours: Shift work, including weekends, early and late shifts between 9am and 9pm. Flexibility is essential.
