An exciting opportunity has arisen for an office-based Facilities professional to join the innovative Facilities team at Global Payments/Takepayments. You will develop the role and deliver exceptional customer service and core business facilities services.

With support from your reporting manager and the wider Facilities team, you will bring your Facilities knowledge and experience to a broad range of processes and assignments.

You will be responsible for leading and delivering core business services in line with the workplace strategy, global H&S, and Corporate Security policies, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and cost-effective office environment. You will ensure the facility complies with regulations, environmental standards, health, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the primary contact for all Facilities functions and processes.
  2. Manage the onsite Facilities helpdesk inbox, ensuring all requests are addressed promptly and effectively to meet customer expectations.
  3. Conduct monthly site building inspections, document findings, resolve issues, and engage vendors as needed.
  4. Act as the main liaison with site leadership, landlords, managing agents, and stakeholders to align priorities and expectations.
  5. Handle budget duties to maintain operational and capital expenditure budgets.
  6. Manage the site PPM schedule with service providers, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Oversee reactive work requests for prompt and cost-effective resolution.
  7. Supervise third-party contractors and suppliers working on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
  8. Manage the Contractor Induction Programme, ensuring all Health & Safety documentation is approved before work begins.
  9. Review and approve vendor Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS).
  10. Identify opportunities to improve Facilities service delivery, achieve cost efficiencies, and stay updated with industry news.
  11. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including employee training.
  12. Maintain records of on-site accidents and incidents.
  13. Conduct site H&S inductions for new starters, covering security and safety protocols.
  14. Perform any other tasks as assigned by senior management.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in an office-based Facilities Management role.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Practical experience working with outsourced soft services contractors under service level agreements.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Project support experience.
  • Office-based Health & Safety experience.
