Job description

The Role: Estates and FM Administrator
Sector: Property & Facilities Management
Location: Leicester
Salary: £27,000pa

I am working with a great student accommodation client to help them find a switched-on, enthusiastic Estates and FM Administrator. The incoming candidate will need to be fairly tech savvy, highly organised, able to work autonomously, and proficient with Excel spreadsheets. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role, such as assisting or managing a help desk for a large estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The Estates and Facilities Coordinator will support and coordinate Estates and Facilities services across 33 buildings nationwide.
  2. Assist in coordinating all matters related to FM services across the national sites.
  3. Manage health & safety matters and ensure the efficient operation of all Facilities Management services, including reactive, planned, and project-related tasks.
  4. Maintain harmonious relationships with all building users across the estate.
  5. Coordinate and deliver day-to-day Facilities Management across the estate.
  6. Support the delivery of effective maintenance services.
  7. Provide concise information to the estate and teams regarding issues, actions, and resolutions.
  8. Assist in the efficient utilization of labour, materials, plant, and equipment within budget constraints.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience with CAFM systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
  • Clear, concise communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of H&S legislation.
  • Experience supporting, receiving, and logging information in asset registers and compliance policies in a timely manner.
  • Ability to analyse data and work independently without micro-management.
