Contract Type: Temporary (3 months)

Hourly Rate: £14 - £16 per hour

Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Are you an experienced facilities professional seeking an exciting new opportunity? Our client is looking for a talented Facilities Coordinator to join their team. You will be responsible for minor projects, maintenance, and asset management, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's properties.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the Facilities Manager with maintenance, repairs, disposal, and asset management services.
  • Ensuring compliance with national maintenance and repair contracts, including repairs, maintenance, alteration, and quality assurance.
  • Managing utility contracts and analysing usage for anomalies.
  • Assisting with procurement, implementation, and operation of waste management contracts.
  • Reporting on budget control for building and equipment maintenance.
  • Staying updated with new legislation and ensuring compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Completing compliance audits and implementing corrective actions.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in property management, property maintenance, and facilities management.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, including external parties.
  • Experience with supplier and contractor management, as well as financial management.
  • Understanding of statutory requirements and obligations in property management.
  • Experience in contracts management and relevant business administration.
