Job summary

Word360 Limited, the UK's leading interpreting and translation provider, is seeking skilled face-to-face interpreters to support clients across Gloucestershire. This freelance role offers flexibility and the chance to make a tangible impact on people’s access to services in health, social care, and community settings.

You’ll travel within the Gloucestershire region to various sites, including NHS facilities and local authorities, delivering accurate interpretation while upholding professionalism

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English and another language.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm, with a respectful and empathetic approach.
• Confidence interpreting across medical, social care, and community settings.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with both Barred Lists).
• Eligibility for self-employment in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face interpretation across health and social care sectors.

We are currently seeking skilled, passionate, and reliable interpreters to provide face-to-face language support for individuals with limited English proficiency.

What you'll be doing

As a face-to-face interpreter, you will deliver vital language interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within the Health and Social Care sectors.
Your assignments may include supporting individuals accessing services through the NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.

You will play a key role in breaking down communication barriers, ensuring that every person has access to the services and support they need.

*** Please note: This role involves regular travel within and around the Gloucestershire region ****
Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Hereford, Stroud, Banbury, Swindon, Quedgeley
