This self-employed role involves travelling to NHS, council, charity, and private sector locations to break down communication barriers.

You will work across medical, social care, and community settings, with flexible assignments and ongoing training to enhance professional development and community impact.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English and another language.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm with a respectful and empathetic approach.
• Confidence interpreting across medical, social care, and community settings.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with Barred Lists) and DBS support available.
• Eligibility for self-employment in the UK.

Responsibilities

• As a face-to-face interpreter, deliver vital language interpretation services to organisations in Health and Social Care sectors.
• Assignments may include helping individuals access NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.
• Play a key role in breaking down communication barriers to ensure access to services.
