Job summary

Word360, the United Kingdom's largest interpreting and translation company, seeks skilled face-to-face interpreters to support individuals with limited English in the Berkshire region. This self-employed role involves travelling to NHS, council, charity, and private sector locations to break down communication barriers.

You will work across medical, social care, and community settings, with flexible assignments and ongoing training to enhance professional development and community impact.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English and another language.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm with a respectful and empathetic approach.
• Confidence interpreting across medical, social care, and community settings.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with Barred Lists) and DBS support available.
• Eligibility for self-employment in the UK.

We are currently seeking skilled, passionate, and reliable interpreters to provide face-to-face language support for individuals with limited English proficiency.

What you'll be doing

• As a face-to-face interpreter, you will deliver vital language interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within the Health and Social Care sectors.
• Your assignments may include supporting individuals accessing services through the NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.
• You will play a key role in breaking down communication barriers, ensuring that every person has access to the services and support they need.

***Please note:This role involves regular travel within and around the Berkshire region.***

Slough, Reading, Ascot, Windsor, Maindenhead, Wokingham, Thatcham, Newbury, Camberley, Berkshire
