Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for UK-based envelope/remediation projects. You will take full commercial responsibility, manage budgets and cash flows, and oversee subcontractor activity to protect project value.

Based near Portsmouth with nationwide travel, the role offers hybrid working, clear progression, and a structured support network within a financially strong, turnover-rich contractor portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in façade, cladding or external envelope surveying.
• Strong technical, contractual and commercial understanding.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own full commercial and contractual responsibility for envelope/cladding remediation projects.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, CVRs and project cash flows.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage risk and cost exposure.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with project progress.
• Liaise with project teams, senior management and external stakeholders.
• Frequent site visits across the UK; up to 2 days/week at Portsmouth office.
