Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is sourcing an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading façade contractor in Edinburgh. You will manage commercial delivery of curtain wall, glazing and aluminium facade projects, protecting profitability and contractual commitments.

Working closely with directors and project teams, you will administer contracts, variations and final accounts, while developing strong client and stakeholder relationships on high-profile residential and commercial schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within construction.
• Façade experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong commercial acumen and contractual knowledge.
• Track record of delivering profitable projects.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying or Construction qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of façade projects from pre-construction to final account
• Administer contracts, variations, valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
• Maximise project profitability through effective cost control and commercial management
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risk
• Manage client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, cash flow, and financial performance
