Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a hands-on Façade Designer to join their office-based team in Coventry. You’ll develop detailed curtain walling and glazing designs from concept through construction, collaborating with architects, contractors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have practical knowledge of curtain walling systems, CWCT guidance and UK building regulations, with AutoCAD proficiency (Revit a plus). This role offers steady projects and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Façade Designer, Cladding Designer or similar.
• Strong understanding of curtain walling and glazing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit beneficial).
• Knowledge of CWCT standards and UK building regulations.
• Practical understanding of façade installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed façade drawings for curtain walling and glazing systems.
• Develop technical details in line with architectural and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure designs comply with CWCT guidance and UK standards.
• Support projects through design, manufacture and installation stages.
• Assist with resolving technical queries during delivery.
