Job summary

Partnership Recruiting is assisting a leading manufacturing business in Glasgow's West End to hire an experienced Facade Designer. You will own projects within an architectural setting, coordinating with customers and internal teams to deliver accurate connection details, elevations and layouts that comply with building regulations.

Ideal candidates have around 5 years' experience in an architectural/technical environment, strong knowledge of façades or curtain walling, and proficient AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Around 5 years' experience within an architectural or technical setting.
• Strong working knowledge of new-build façades, windows and/or curtain walling.
• Previous experience using AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage your own workload and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build strong relationships with both customers and internal teams.
• A good understanding of building regulations and technical drawing requirements.

We are currently on the look out for an experience Facade Designer for a leading manufacturing business based in the West End of Glasgow.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong architectural/technical background who understands façades and wants to take ownership of their own projects while developing their career.

You will be responsible for managing your own projects within the architectural setting, working closely with customers and internal departments at a technical level. You'll ensure that connection details, elevations and layout drawings are accurate, compliant and aligned with current building regulations.
