Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead construction projects on-site, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality. The role involves coordinating clients, consultants, and subcontractors, monitoring costs, and maintaining robust safety standards across all activities.

Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, clear communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is essential.
• CSCS Managers & Professionals Card required.
• First Aid at Work certification required.
• Scaffold Awareness is essential.
• Environmental Awareness and RAMS familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction activities to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, designers, and supply chain partners to align objectives.
• Monitor project costs, margins, and resources with Quantity Surveyors.
• Review designs for value engineering opportunities to reduce costs.
• Prepare and manage site documentation (reports, drawings, schedules, lookahead programmes).
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain smooth site operations and programme adherence.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and QEMS policies.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Promote continuous improvement and staff development within the team.
