Job description

Are you a skilled fabricator looking for a new opportunity? Do you have TIG experience?

Our Aylesbury based client is seeking a qualified Welder / Fabricator to join the team on permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a well established and respected local company.

Skills, experience, and qualifications:

• Working with thin wall material including Stainless Steel, Inconel and Aluminum.
• Have significant fabrication experience, ideally, but not necessarily, in the motorsport sector.
• TIG Welding experience

Duties:

• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• To cut, assemble and fabricate/weld, for the most part in jigs, metallic assemblies.
• To be responsible for quality and timely completion of parts to agreed standards, based upon the information in the drawings, works orders and job information packs.
• Liaise with the supervisor ensuring they have a full understanding of requirements of each job.
• To be responsible for ensuring the timekeeping/job tracking system is kept up to date at all times.

Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work well in a small team, but also be able to take the initiative and enjoy the responsibility of working on their own. Key requirements of the role include a strict attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, completing tasks in an often demanding working environment. Familiarity of working from technical drawings is essential.

In return, the company is offering a salary package of between 30,000 - 40,000, depending on experience, with 25 Days of Holiday (Plus bank holidays)

Hours of work being 07:30 - 17:30 - 4 day shift, will be allocated, fixed shift.

Hours for a 5 day week, 07:00 - 16:00 and then 07:00 - 14:00.
