Mitie Group plc. in Coventry is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our manufacturing team.

This role involves working on structural steelwork, carbon steel pipework and stainless steel pipework for diverse UK projects, with a strong emphasis on reading drawings and delivering high-quality fabrications. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Fabricator Welder in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience fabricating and welding structural steelwork to drawings/specifications.
• Welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipework.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and MMA welding processes.
• Able to read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Strong fabrication skills with attention to tolerances and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication and welding drawings and specifications.
• Measure, mark out, cut, prepare and assemble steelwork and pipework.
• Carry out MIG, TIG and MMA welding to high standards.
• Manufacture pipe spools, skid assemblies and support steelwork.
• Fit, tack and assemble components for final welding.
• Operate workshop machinery and power tools safely.
• Conduct self-inspections to verify quality against drawings.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality fabrication solutions.
