Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder in Worcestershire for a full-time role with a late shift (12:00pm – 8:00pm) on a temp-to-perm basis. The position requires MIG welding skills and the ability to fabricate from technical drawings across 1mm–20mm thicknesses.

The role includes approximately 12 weeks of training on the day shift before moving to the late shift, and it sits within an established manufacturing and engineering operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding on a range of material thicknesses (1mm–20mm).
• Able to interpret technical drawings and fabricate components.
• Strong fabrication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• MIG welds on 1mm–20mm materials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Prepare materials and components for fabrication and welding.
• Use fabrication and hand tools to produce components to spec.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and inspect finished work.
