Job summary

Straight-Line Group is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder for an immediate start in the Stourbridge and West Midlands area. This role offers ongoing workshop and site-based fabrication with potential for permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

You will read engineering drawings, fabricate and install welded pipework, and work with screwed pipework. A CSCS card, full UK driving licence and basic tools are required to perform this role safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fabricator / Welder is essential.
• Experience fabricating from engineering drawings.
• Experience with welded pipework and general pipe fitting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good standard of workmanship and reliability.
• Valid CSCS Card or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own basic tools if working as a sole trader or subcontractor.

Due to continued growth and increasing workloads, our client is looking to expand their team with a skilled and reliable Fabricator / Welder to support ongoing workshop and site-based projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator / Welder looking for consistent work, with potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Fabrication from engineering drawings.
• Fabrication and installation of welded pipework.
• Working with screwed pipework.
• General pipe fitting and site installation.
• Carrying out workshop and site-based fabrication.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and safety.

The Ideal Candidate:
