Job summary

The Independent Recruiter Hub is seeking an experienced Fabricator for a full-time, on-site role. You will fabricate using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, read engineering drawings, and perform MIG/TIG welding on varying thicknesses, while operating guillotines, press brakes and rollers.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in metal fabrication, with strong accuracy and teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety and quality across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• MIG/TIG Welding – minimum 2 years.
• Metal Fabrication – minimum 2 years.
• Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Good knowledge of common fabrication machinery.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to required tolerances.
• Carry out MIG and TIG welding, working with material thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 15mm.
• Confidently operate fabrication machinery including guillotines, press brakes and rollers.
• Work accurately and safely to a high standard.
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

FABRICATOR – FULL-TIME VACANCY

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Fabricator to join a busy and growing fabrication department.

This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same, with plenty of different projects to get involved in.

The Role

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Fabricate using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to required tolerances
• Carry out MIG and TIG welding, working with material thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 15mm
• Confidently operate fabrication machinery including guillotines, press brakes and rollers
• Work accurately and safely to a high standard
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team

Experience Required

Previous fabrication experience is essential, including:

• MIG/TIG Welding – minimum 2 years
• Metal Fabrication – minimum 2 years
• Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
• Good knowledge of common fabrication machinery

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm

Rate of pay is dependent on experience.
