Job summary

Driver Hire Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for their Peterhead workshop. The role involves fabricating, welding and assembly, with emphasis on MIG and FCAW techniques and reading fabrication drawings.

You will perform cutting, grinding, drilling and plate preparation, plus equipment repair and refurbishment. Experience with carbon steel and a time-served background are required, with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Time-served Fabricator/Welder or equivalent.
• Experience in fabrication, welding and structural assembly.
• Able to read fabrication drawings.
• Carbon steel experience.
• Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
• Welding codings: previous coding experience is sufficient, with candidates put through new codings after probation.
