Job summary

Tom Orange Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Brigg, United Kingdom. Working Monday to Friday 07:45 – 16:45, you will produce high-quality wooden products from cutting to finishing bespoke items.

The ideal candidate will read technical drawings, operate hand and power tools, and maintain safety and quality standards in a tidy workshop environment. Temp to perm role with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools, power tools and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math for fabrication tasks.
• Prior experience in woodworking fabrication is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Cut materials with panel saw and shape using routers and polishers.
• Form and apply edging strips to panels, then sand and polish finished panels.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in assembling fabricated components into finished products.
• Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. working Monday to Friday 07.45 – 16.45 . The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality wooden products, from cutting and shaping materials to assembling and finishing bespoke items. Responsibilities

• Using a variety of hand tools such as Routers, Sanders/ Polishers.


• Use Panel Saw to accurately cut materials.


• Heat, Form and Glue edging strips to panels.


• Sand and polish finished panels.


• Good eye for detail

• Well organised


• Can work with minimal supervision (after training)


• Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.

Experience

• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes.


• Mechanical knowledge related to, assembly, and basic maintenance of fabrication equipment.


• Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations relevant to fabrication tasks.


• Prior experience working with , mechanical assembly, or related fields is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to learn.
