We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator / Relief HGV Driver to join our team in our Sudbury Timber Engineering Branch.

If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. You'll be working in our newly formed Timber Engineering manufacturing facility in Sudbury, producing roof trusses, posi joists, spandrel, and gable panels.

We seek motivated, energetic individuals to join our production team. You should be able to work well as part of a team and independently in manufacturing engineered timber products. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, approachable, positive, and polite. Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required.

Here’s an overview of what you can expect as a Fabricator/Relief HGV with Huws Gray:

• Working as part of a team and independently to manufacture engineered timber products
• Using industry technology such as automated presses and laser systems
• Paying close attention to detail to interpret dimensioned drawings and work to precise measurements
• Making deliveries in branch vehicles as needed

We value individuality and offer extensive training and tools to help you succeed as a Truss, Joist & Panel Fabricator. Previous woodworking experience is advantageous. A Class 2 licence is also required for this role.
