• Experience reading and working from engineering/architectural drawings.
• Experience fabricating steel, aluminium, and metal products.
• Competent using workshop fabrication equipment and site installation tools.

Job Title: Fabricator Installer

Location: York

Pay: £16.00 - £25.00 per hour

Job Summary

Fusion People are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Installer to join a growing and reputable company specialising in the manufacture and installation of bespoke metalwork products. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who enjoys a varied role split between workshop fabrication and on-site installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating steel, aluminium, and metalwork products to specification
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Installing fabricated products on commercial, industrial, and residential sites
• Using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Ensuring all installations are completed safely and professionally
• Liaising with site managers, clients, and colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fabricator Installer, Metal Fabricator, Welder Fabricator, or similar role
• Ability to read and work from engineering and architectural drawings
• Experience working with steel, aluminium, and other metal products
• Competent using workshop fabrication equipment and site installation tools
• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS Card desirable but not essential
