Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Fabrications Project Engineer in Alfreton to drive projects from concept through to delivery within our fabrication department. You will collaborate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth manufacturing flows for carbon and stainless steel fabrications.

The role focuses on delivering complex weldments and high-integrity components, with an emphasis on schedule adherence and cost control. Strong communication, planning and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fabrication processes and welding.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and determine required processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion.
• Create manufacturing route cards to determine best manufacturing methods.
• Liaise with internal departments and manage external resources as needed.
• Take ownership of project from start to finish.
