Job summary

Interaction Engineering is seeking a capable Workshop Manager to drive the smooth operation of its workshop. You will lead and develop the workshop team, organise workloads, and ensure timely completion of jobs while upholding safety, quality and customer service standards.

The role focuses on maintaining high workmanship standards, effective communication with management and customers, and continual process improvements to maximise productivity.

• Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship, efficiency and quality.
• Ensure workshop equipment, tools and facilities are maintained appropriately.
• Monitor team performance and implement improvements where necessary.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the workshop.
• Coordinate communication between the workshop, management and customers where required.
• Oversee the effective use of resources to maximise productivity and minimise delays.
• Ensure workshop procedures and operational standards are consistently followed.
