Fabricator / Welder

• Location: Kidlington
• Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Hours: 40 hours/week

We are seeking a Fabricator / Welder to join our Kidlington Workshop department in a dynamic environment.

About The Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will manufacture fabricated components, adhering to schedules and quality standards. Occasionally, you will assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies to precise standards.

What You Will Do

• Fabricate and weld assemblies according to engineering drawings
• Test and validate assembled components
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to meet delivery schedules
• Develop and follow assembly and test procedures
• Assemble production items and sub-assemblies
• Maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with WAE quality standards
• Use computerised systems for data integrity
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Own the build area and products
• Drive continuous improvement
• Report and resolve issues
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Support other programmes and company needs
• Travel worldwide as required

About You

• Relevant manufacturing qualification or experience
• Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office
• Welding skills: TIG, MIG; laser welding advantageous
• Problem-solving and initiative
• Flexible, organized, pragmatic
• Team player with excellent communication
• Maintain high standards of presentation
