Job summary

Sikla GmbH in Milton Keynes is seeking a Fabrication & Warehouse Operative to support both production of modular steel assemblies and daily warehouse operations.

You will read technical drawings, assemble steel components, operate cutting tools, handle goods-in/goods-out and maintain inventory accuracy while meeting tight deadlines. This on-site role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety, with a 39-hour week.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Skilled in assembling steel components to project specs.
• Proficient in using fabrication tools and cutting equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems for warehouse tasks.
• Valid forklift/combi-lift/stacker licences desirable.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Assemble steel components into finished frames according to requirements.
• Operate industrial cutting tools and fabrication equipment.
• Prefabricate and cut Sikla steel components.
• Inspect components and assemblies for accuracy and quality.
• Process goods-in and goods-out in warehouse operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cleanliness of tools.
