TipTopJob in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead daily shop-floor operations. The role offers a competitive hourly rate rising to 21.50ph, with a salary range around £40,560–£43,602 per year, plus 25 days holiday, bank holidays, a company pension and health plan.

You will be hands-on, supervise a team of ~30 with two other supervisors, and drive safety, quality and on-time delivery throughout the factory.

Qualifications

• Fabrication background required.
• Experience in supervision or aiming to move into a supervisory role.
• Engineering qualification held.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations on the shop floor.
• Ensure safe working practices and high quality, on-time delivery.
• Work with two other supervisors to manage a total team of ~30.
• Hands-on involvement in a factory-based environment as needed.

Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 15:00, Friday 06:00 to 11:00

Fabrication Supervisor required for an industry leading engineering company. This is a great opportunity to join a company who work with many of the worlds leading blue:chip companies across lots of sectors.

This role would suit an experienced fabricator and will hold a related engineering qualification. You will either have supervisory experience or looking to step into a formal supervisory role.

The successful Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for leading and overseeing daily operations, ensuring safe working practices, high quality and on time delivery of products.

You will work alongside two other supervisors overseeing a total team of around 30 people. This is a factory:based role, and you can expect to be hands on when required.

The Fabrication Supervisor Role

• Accountable for H and S on shop floor
• Ensure maintenance of quality standards : documenting inspections and tests, and driving root cause analysis of any issues
• Work with Production Manager to set daily targets and ensure daily targets for deliveries are achieves
• Complete and validate time sheets
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring to the team
• Driving continuous improvement
