Job summary

Genuit Group's Polypipe Civils and Green Urbanisation is seeking a Fabrication Operator to safely run fabrication machines and maintain high-quality production. The role operates on a Monday to Friday cycle with early and late shifts.

You will follow Safe Systems of Work, wear PPE, and collaborate with Engineers to escalate issues using the job card system. The role emphasises teamwork, cleanliness, and reliability in output.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience meeting KPIs / performance measures.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
• Accurate completion of paperwork.
• Process and solution driven mindset.
• Ability to identify root causes and consider all options.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machines safely in line with Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
• Use correct PPE and report any PPE issues.
• Only operate equipment you are trained for.
• Record data to maintain machine efficiency and output.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Senior Team Leaders to escalate problems via the job card system.
• Adhere to Genuit’s guiding principles and values.
• Communicate suggestions to improve processes with your supervisor.
• Build strong working relationships with internal customers.
