Job summary

Polypipe Limited is hiring a Fabrication Operator to safely run fabrication machines, keep production at the highest quality, and ensure targets are met. Reporting to the Fabrication Senior Team Leader, this full-time role runs Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30 and places safety, cleanliness and reliability at the top of every shift.

You will use the Safe Systems of Work, wear PPE, record information to track machine efficiency, and raise issues with Engineers and Senior Team Leaders via the job card

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills are essential.
• Experience achieving KPIs and performance targets.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machines safely and maintain production quality.
• Record data to monitor machine efficiency.
• Escalate problems to Engineers and Senior Team Leaders via job cards.
• Follow Safe Systems of Work and use PPE.
• Maintain good relationships with internal customers.
• Suggest improvements to processes in area.
