Salary: £26,000 per annum (increasing to £27,500 after probation and £29,000 after 12 months)

About The Role:

Due to growth within the business, they are searching for a Fabrication Operators to join them. The role will support a team of existing Fabrication Operators who are responsible for the fabrication of steel doors.

The business is built on repeat customers and therefore this role will play an integral role in the Company’s continued growth.

Main Responsibilities:

•Responsible for the fabrication of steel doors
•Handling sheet steel components (manual handling)
•Ensure the correct doors and components are being manufactured
•Carry out QC checks to verify quality before completion
•Complete tasks as set out by the Team Leader
•Maintain daily and weekly targets ensuring quality at all times
•Liaise with other production teams in the supply chain
•Maintain a clean and tidy workstation
•Assisting other teams as and when required

Experience / Qualifications needed:

•Previous experience in manufacturing or a factory environment (desirable)
•High level of craftsmanship
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Working to tight deadlines
•Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality whilst carrying out repetitive work
