Job summary

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role leads the fabrication production team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, within timescales and budgets.

Location is Bristol, salary up to £52,325, and opportunities to develop skills and contribute to continuous improvement across the rental fleet.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a fabrication or manufacturing workshop.
• Experience with bespoke fabrication or ISO container conversions.
• Experience supervising production teams.
• Strong planning, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality control, cost management and continuous improvement.
• HS&E compliance and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of fabrication workshop and paint booth.
• Plan and monitor production to meet customer deadlines.
• Allocate resources and prioritise workloads.
• Lead a nine-employee production team.
• Maintain quality standards and safety compliance.
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
• Maintain production records and budget monitoring.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
