Qualifications

• Engineering mindset with fabrication/welding experience a plus, or pipework/plumbing background.
• Familiarity with reviewing BIM/3D drawings for efficient fabrication.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritise, and deliver to schedule.
• Drive operational excellence, cost control, quality, and improved ways of working in fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Review fabrication drawings and BIM models before production to identify issues and ensure manufacturability.
• Develop efficient fabrication strategies and practical packages to minimise welding and handling time.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and welding teams to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, tooling and new manufacturing technologies.
