Adecco is recruiting for an Assembly & Fabrication Operative in Gillingham. The role involves assembling parts, reading drawings, and ensuring quality in a hands-on workshop environment. The position offers a 4-day working week with Fridays off and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or engineering environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or engineering instructions.
• Attention to detail and reliability in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts, components and sub-assemblies using hand tools.
• Use power and pneumatic tools to fit and secure components.
• Read and work from engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the build process.
• Identify and report issues and contribute to practical solutions.
• Support workshop improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
