Job summary

Apleona is recruiting a Fabric Technician/Handyperson to carry out planned and reactive maintenance at client premises in Preston. You will install, maintain and repair fabric systems and components, liaising with tenants as required.

The role requires recognised qualifications and strong plumbing and joinery skills, with broad knowledge of building services. You will receive full training and a competitive salary up to £37,000 with access to company van and benefits.

Qualifications

• Recognised industry qualifications, equivalent training programme.
• Strong Plumbing skills / experience.
• Strong Joinery skills / experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Broad knowledge and experience of building services systems, maintenance management and health and safety procedures.
• IT Literate.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair fabric systems and components.
• Maintain the fabric of the building including painting, plumbing, carpentry and general repairs.
• Interact with client/tenants as required.
• Assist with plumbing PPM and reactive tasks and diagnose/correct problems.
