JLL Workplace Management is seeking a Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance in line with PPM schedules, covering carpentry, fire door maintenance, alarm testing, AHU servicing, plumbing, and general building repairs.

You will work within a collaborative team, adhere to site shift patterns, and ensure work quality and safety standards are met. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Fabric Engineer apprenticeship or Carpentry & Joinery qualifications.
• Post-apprenticeship practical experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and as a team member.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
• Good IT and report writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance per PPM schedules.
• Perform general carpentry, fire door maintenance, alarm testing and plumbing tasks.
• Manage sub-contractors on site and coordinate with Help Desk/management.
• Produce technical and activity reports, and maintain accurate time sheets.
• Maintain safety and compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
