Job summary

SER-IN is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer for a full-time permanent position at a large static site in the SN3 area of Swindon. The role covers on-site maintenance including tiles, plastering, decorating and furniture building with basic plumbing and other duties.

Applicants should have prior experience with planned and reactive maintenance on commercial/industrial sites, a flexible attitude, and ideally a Level 2 qualification in building maintenance such as plumbing, carpentry or

• Experience in Commercial or Industrial building maintenance is required.
• Proficient in plastering, painting, furniture building, tiling, etc.

Responsibilities

• On-site maintenance including floor and ceiling tiles, patch plastering, decorating and building furniture, basic plumbing and related tasks.
• Responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance on commercial/industrial sites.
• Flexibility to handle a range of building maintenance duties.

Job description

Position: Fabric Engineer

Location: Swindon, SN3

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £32,000 to £33,500 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer for a full time, permanent position on a large static site based in the SN3 area of Swindon.

This Fabric Technician will be dealing with on site maintenance that will include; floor and ceiling tiles, patch plastering, decorating, building furniture, basic plumbing as well as other duties

The right person for this position will already have experience dealing with planned and reactive maintenance on commercial / industrial sites. They will need to have a flexible working attitude and be willing to deal with a multitude of tasks in relation to building maintenance.

It would be a major advantage if this person held a level 2 qualification in building maintenance such as plumbing, carpentry, plastering or decorating.

This is a Monday to Friday position and will not be required to join an on call rota

Requirements

• Experience in Commercial or Industrial building maintenance
• Able to deal with plastering, painting, furniture building, tiling etc
• Happy to do a Monday to Friday position
• Holding a level 2 qualification in maintenance is preferred
• Flexible working attitude
