HVAC Recruitment are seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer for a prestige static site in Harrogate. You will perform planned and reactive fabric maintenance, ensuring a safe, compliant and well-presented building.

You will work with the on-site maintenance team, carrying out carpentry, plumbing, decorating and basic repairs, with a focus on high standards and customer service. Benefits include a basic salary around £32,000, Monday to Friday hours, company pension, 25 days leave and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience as Fabric Engineer, Handyperson or Building Maintenance.
• Experience with carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general repairs.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance.
• General building repairs including carpentry, painting and decorating.
• Basic plumbing repairs including taps, toilets and pipework.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, flooring, ceilings and fixtures.
• Complete patch plastering and minor joinery work.
• Carry out routine inspections and identify defects.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Liaise with subcontractors when required.
• Complete maintenance records using the CAFM system.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures.

Fabric Engineer

Location: Harrogate (Static Site)

Salary: £29,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time

The Role

We are looking for a Fabric Engineer to join our team on a prestigious static site in Harrogate. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in building maintenance who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in maintaining high standards across a commercial site.

Working as part of the on-site maintenance team, you'll carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance, ensuring the building is kept safe, compliant and presented to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance.
• General building repairs including carpentry, painting and decorating.
• Basic plumbing repairs including taps, toilets and pipework.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, flooring, ceilings and fixtures.
