Job summary

Tesco Insurance and Money Services is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to shape data services on the Microsoft Fabric platform. You will translate business and regulatory needs into scalable data architectures and collaborate with engineers, analysts, product teams and senior stakeholders.

The role blends strategic design with governance of enterprise and domain data models, real-time ingestion, AI-driven insights, and semantic layers to enable trusted analytics and long-term data integrity.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Data Architect across modern analytics and data platforms.
Strong data modelling skills including conceptual/logical models and dimensional modelling.
Experience designing semantic layers for self-service analytics.
Experience on cloud-based platforms, ideally Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse.

Responsibilities

Define and own data architecture patterns, standards and target state designs for Microsoft Fabric.
Develop real-time ingestion, AI-driven insights and API-led integration.
Lead governance of enterprise data models from conceptual to physical implementations.
Partner with data engineers, analytics engineers and platform teams to ensure performant models.
Shape semantic layer to enable trusted analytics and reduce duplication.
Translate business concepts and regulatory needs into well-governed data structures.
