Job summary

Red Bull Technology invites undergraduates to join its Vehicle Suspension Design placement for a year starting summer 2027 at the Milton Keynes campus. You will design and draft suspension components, perform basic analyses and prepare technical documentation for the circuit.

The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and learning across Designers, Aerodynamicists, Race Engineering and Manufacturing, with travel as requested.

Qualifications

• Understanding of vehicle suspension, driver controls and braking systems.
• Understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and calculation.
• Good understanding of a 3D CAD system and willingness to learn a new package.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Initiative and willingness to learn and contribute to the Red Bull Formula 1 programme.

Responsibilities

• Designing and drafting suspension and driver controls components and tooling.
• Developing proficiency in CAD design, calculations, fault diagnosis and basic stress analysis.
• Preparing technical documentation for the circuit.
